About Guiva
Two Portuguese siblings had a dream and a vision – to make homes around the world a happier and brighter place. One day, they made that dream a reality and Guiva was born.
Our aim is to bring colour and a touch of irreverent charm to homes around the world. Focusing on a simple pouf design – the ottoman – the key to Guiva's unique pieces and brand appeal comes from our exclusive fabrics, as well as the quality of our materials and care in the production of each item.
Antero Silva
CEO
The business master mind of the team, Antero has a Masters in Engineering and a Masters in Business from ICSTE, Lisbon. He looks at business opportunities and partnerships for Guiva, and overall manages the company. Antero's loves to put his feet up on his Cobalt Blue Pouf and chill.
Joana Silva
Creative Director
With a passion for sewing and home décor, Joana is the brain behind the Guiva items. She thinks in fabrics and shapes and how to best combine the two; always! Joana's chilling with a cup of tea and her feet up on her OttoPouf and knit away. She loves cats.
Maria João
Design Director
Maria João is Guiva's fantastic designer and brand developer. With an amazing visual aesthetics and dream-to-reality approach, she designs all of Guiva's fabrics. Maria João enjoys relaxing on her OttoPouf after a long day at work. She also loves cats.
